In many different cases across the world, organ transplants has provided hope and extended the lives of many patients who experienced the difficulties of organ failure. Many years ago, such cases would have been hopeless if a certain illness couldn’t be cured by medicine or other treatments. Fortunately, technology has advanced so much in our time that organ replacement is already a reality.
When it comes to organ supplies, there are two different sources where doctors may obtain the needed body part. The Opt-in and Opt-out options where individuals can agree to become an organ donor once they die.
Now for other countries, it is important to first get consent from the loved ones of a deceased person before actual organ harvesting can be performed. After concerned individuals get to obtain the required approval, expert surgeons will remove the healthy organs and then the sick person’s organs could already be replaced.
